Tour Details

Working with Duran Duran since 1998, Vince Foster notes, “Although they do a reasonable amount of touring, they do a lot of interesting other work. This year we’ve done a rooftop show opposite the Capitol Records Building in Los Angeles, Rock in Rio, the Hollywood Bowl, the Queen’s Jubilee, Commonwealth Games, and Times Square for New Year’s Eve. We’ve played shows in Sicily, Ibiza, and Cannes.” The fixtures that Foster particularly likes are the Claypaky B-EYES and the GLP JDC1s. “The B-EYE is a great wash light and has a good selection of pixel effects you can layer. The JDC1s are a great, powerful strobe with lots of great pixel effects, and a good background wash for lighting drapes and backdrops. The Martin MAC Ultra Washes and Spots I had never used before. Martin is a very good brand, and I was pleasantly surprised.”
