Tour Details
Lighting Designer Max Conwell of Naked Eye Lighting Ltd. has been working with Morrissey for 19 years and notes that the key thing on this tour is the backdrop imagery. “I used the Robe Patt 2017 retro lights to frame the bottom of the screen, and they have some great looks in them while not too dazzling for the audience. Framing the screen sides with some wire mesh legs from Sew What? Inc. works perfectly and they take light beautifully. I was very keen to do as much of an LED/low energy rig and apart from the rear Robe RoboSpot it was all LED lighting. We have a great relationship with Solotech, and they have always fielded great gear and crew. The account handlers Robert Kennedy and Eamonn McCullagh are great to work with, being very proactive and quick to respond if any issues arise.”
