ULTRA Europe made its triumphant return to Park Mladeži in Split, Croatia from July 8 –10, 2022, welcoming more than 160,000 attendees from 141 countries for the festival’s eighth edition. Europe’s premier destination music festival featured four stages, with the Main Stage impressing attendees as a marvelous giant measuring 20m high and 80m long, with more than 500 sq. m. of LED screens and flanked by world-class pyrotechnics.

As a part of the Main Stage at Ultra Europe, four extreme power RTI NANO 100 laser systems were deployed. Here are some photos and information on these powerful lasers in use at the music festival.

Here’s a demonstration video of the RTI NANO 100 in action:

More details from RTI:

These lasers, with 100W RGB white light power, have an extremely tight and highly visible beam that remains the same over a long distance. Visitors reported the lasers still being visible on the mountains at around 20km distance.

The RTI NANO 100 is equipped with a professional, high speed scanning system that allows a scan speed of up to 38kpps @ 8° ILDA, which makes them graphics capable, too. This is possible due to technical developments based on the successful RSL laser source technology.

Stable operation in a wide temperature range is essential for these high power systems, as they are used at festivals and large scale projects, which usually means that they are exposed to higher temperatures. Of course the NANO 100s are suitable for use in the outdoors, even in the rain.

Confetti Systems from Poland has invested in a good stock of the RTI NANO 100 lasers. They offer them for rental or dry hire, too.
