The opening ceremony of the 20th Games Of Jiangsu Province was held on the evening of Aug. 28 in Taizhou Sports Park in China. The theme for this cultural and sports ceremony was “Phoenix brings auspiciousness to the water city, and the river and sea are peaceful.” New technologies featured during the opening ceremony included laser projection, mobile screens, human/screen interaction, 3D without specialty glasses and augmented reality. Gloshine brand’s large screens helped to present a high-quality audio-visual forward production.
A total of nearly 2,000 sq. m. of Gloshine LED screens were used in the opening ceremony of the Games, including 1,792 sq. m. of its Zebra Series outdoor professional stage LED displays and 142.5 sq. m. of Carbon Series outdoor carbon fiber high-definition LED displays.
The thickness of the Gloshine Zebra Series is only 62cm; ultra-light and thin, which provides ultra-wide viewing angles and high stability. The Zebra Series is an LED display commonly used in outdoor large-scale cultural and sports events, as well as for party stages.
Some of the video content includes “Airy Pavilions and Pagodas”, along with flickering images of actors and actresses; then morphs into the Moon Gate of the Plum blossom garden. Above the 100m long runway of the field of play, a whole row of Zebra Series outdoor professional stage LED displays was hung. When the camera pans, a misty moonlit night outside the starry sky, and little plum blossoms can be clearly seen. Light and shadow rise and fall. This “photo studio” was built with Gloshine’s Carbon Series, which looked great, even in close proximity with the performing artists from Kunqu Opera.
