Blue Planet and Lightscape Announce Partnership and Expansion

Blue Planet AVL and Lightscape Lighting & Equipment announce a strategic partnership which bridges the gap between the Live Entertainment and Motion Picture markets. This collaboration creates a powerhouse operation in which both companies will now simultaneously offer their specialized services to all clients. Blue Planet and Lightscape have also started an aggressive expansion across the U.S., beginning with their joint operation in Atlanta, GA, opening early October 2022. Blue Planet and Lightscape will host an Open House and Vendor Showcase at their facility on Sunday, Oct. 9, located at 640 Airport S. Pkwy, Suite 200 Atlanta, GA 30349. Their Grand Opening is slated for the next day, Oct. 10.

In this partnership, Blue Planet will now begin offering a variety of rental gear in all locations, beginning with Lighting Consoles and DMX Control Gear, all backed by Lightscape’s unique equipment management services model. Additionally, Lightscape is now able to offer sales and service directly to their Film and Television client base, all powered by Blue Planet.

Lightscape offers Sales and Service through their partnership with Blue Planet and will continue to offer Lighting Control Rentals, Specialty Lighting Equipment, Educational Training, and Equipment Management Services such as Warehousing, Insurance, Billing, Inventory Control, Technical Support, Software Integration, Consignment and Concierge Service for our Rental Partners.”
