The Long Reach Long Riders (LRLR) are very happy to announce the successful completion of their 19th annual charity motorcycle ride, the Blue Ridge Ramble. The annual ride, which benefits the Behind the Scenes Charity and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, began in Charlotte, NC on June 17th and returned to Charlotte on June 24th. The group, which consisted of 26 bikes and two chase cars, has raised over $93,500.00 to date, bringing the total raised by the LRLR since the rides began in 2004, to more than $1,000,000.00.

The ride this year included a number of iconic motorcycle roads including The Tail of the Dragon, The Snake, and The Cherohala Skyway. There were also stops at the Wheels Through Time Museum, and the picturesque village of Helen, GA.

“The 2022 LRLR ride is in the books”, noted Ride Marshal Greg Williams. “Seven days of meandering through the Blue Ridge Mountains with great friends enjoying great roads during great weather, all for a great cause!”

The Long Reach Long Riders would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s ride a success. Donations will be accepted until August 1.

The 20th annual Long Reach Long Rider charity motorcycle ride will take place in Southern California, the tentative dates are June 3-9, 2023.
