D.T.S. Illuminazione, the Italian manufacturer of professional lighting fixtures, announce the appointment of Carmen Savarese as Managing Director. Starting from July 1, 2022, the Italian lighting manufacturer D.T.S. Illuminazione issued a new organization chart, adding a general management position.
The Italian company appoints Savarese as Managing Director with the aim to ensure an efficient and sustainable long-term growth worldwide. She has covered the role of International Sales Manager in DTS for the last three years. She joined the company from Tomcat USA Inc and Area Four Industries America, where she was Vice President Sales & Marketing. Previously in the Italian branch of the group, Litec Italia, Savarese gained 16-years of overall experience in the professional entertainment industry. Recently, she has been admitted to the prestigious General Management Program at the renowned École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris – ESCP (in the Financial Times’ Global MBA ranking), which made her the best candidate for the Managing Director role.
Simone Francia, Executive Vice President, will flank Carmen in this new company asset and comments “The founding family, first and second generation, will still maintain the guidance of this historical Italian company. Dante Latteo [President] and I, strongly believe that Carmen is the most skilled person to have in the top management team in this crucial moment for the growth of our family company. Carmen will have the full responsibility for the leadership and business development of DTS. She will play a key role in meeting the company’s growth goals and will also be instrumental in consolidating our reputation among the industry key players.”
Internationalization, growth, consolidation represent the main identity of “the new course”: the founding family’s second generation, the management and corporate re-positioning.
