Bandit Lites announces the promotions of several major leaders with Brent Barrett as Vice President of Business Development, Roth Edwards as Vice President of Operations and Jake Tickle as Vice President of Business and Innovation.
“Every great firm is defined by their great people,” said Bandit Chair, Michael T. Strickland. “Bandit Lites is no exception. Brent Barrett, Roth Edwards, and Jake Tickle exemplify that dynamic. Each a long time Bandit, they have from day one contributed at a level far beyond what was asked of them.”
Brent Barrett
Ever since meeting in grade school, Barrett and Strickland have enjoyed a storied friendship. Barrett now takes the helm of Vice President of Business Development, a position Strickland said he thinks Brent clearly defines as he continues to grow new opportunities at Bandit and add his magic to everything he does.
“Bandit has been a part of me most of my life,” Barrett reflected. “For me, Bandit started with a friendship with Michael during our elementary school that continues today. He and I have been fortunate in being able to have an employee/employer relationship that is able to peacefully coexist with our friendship. Michael owns the company holistically, however, I also feel ownership in Bandit from my having the opportunity of being a part of it for so many years.”
“Those of you that know Brent understand this well,” started Strickland. “Brent was voted Mr. Personality every year in middle school and high school, as he is just that nice. Brent has been a friend to all and critical of none his entire life. When you marry that with a 40-plus year knowledge of the entertainment industry, there is no one more successful in business development.”
“Bandit is a company that focuses on things that really matter in life: integrity, loyalty, hard work and where people matter,” finished Barrett. “I am proud of my career I’ve had at Bandit Lites, and I know the next stage of the company will continue to be one of distinction and quality.”
Roth Edwards
Roth Edwards entered Bandit as an assistant warehouse manager and appeared on the cover of a major industry publication his first month at work. This was foreshadowing of his meteoric rise at Bandit as he quickly moved into the office and has worked his way up stream. Edwards is now the new Vice President of Operations and is responsible for all things operations related across all Bandit offices.
“Roth is simply amazing” says Strickland. “There is nothing Roth will not do, not take on or not learn. His thirst for knowledge along with his desire to make himself and Bandit better is second to none. When Bandit works to deliver Excellence, Roth is at the forefront of that. The wide array of operations under the wise guidance of Roth is a mantel he earned and deserves.”
“Working at Bandit has been one of the most defining experiences of my life,” said Edwards. “Every moment I’ve spent here has been an adventure and I’m excited to see where the next chapter takes me.”
Jake Tickle
As Bandit moves into the very bright future, Jake Tickle sits at the forefront of leading the firm on all subjects technology related, making his elevation to the position of Vice President of Business and Innovation a fitting promotion. Tickle also works in many other areas providing guidance and wisdom.
“There is simply no title large enough to cover Jakes phenomenal contributions at Bandit Lites,” said Strickland. “Jake is there at every step, offering insight, suggestions, and an immense knowledge on a wide variety of subjects, from staffing to training to facilities and so much more. I explained to Jake that I hated to put a box around him with a title, but this one seems the most fluid. The world has long known of Jakes talent and contribution and this title confirms it!”
“Bandit Lites has been a phenomenal journey for me and a remarkably rewarding experience,” said Tickle. “The staff and crew make us successful and to be part of that is an honor. I am excited for this next step in my career and humbled step into this role to help push us forward into the future.”
Now in its 54th year, these three promotions are a continuance of the growth and development of Bandit Lites.
“I love these three people, period,” Strickland proudly states. “They are three amazing individuals that have given their heart and soul to this company and this industry. I can never thank them enough. I am secure to know that as we move forward, we are in the best possible hands!”
