“For the first time since the pandemic, I —— (fill in the blank).” I’ve repeated that phrase a lot lately. I just made my first hair salon visit in more than two years. I boarded a plane for the first time since NAMM 2020. I gathered with crowds at a celebratory event, with the first live music I’ve enjoyed in person. I thought it would feel strange, but strangely enough, it felt normal. I know I’m not the last to be enjoying my ”firsts.” The recent NAB and Prolight + Sound trade shows last month didn’t set attendance records, but the consensus was that people felt good getting back together again, and in this issue is a report on the many products shown. We’ve also included stories leading up to the Parnelli Awards on June 3. If you’re still not ready to get out there, we’ll keep you informed on what’s happening.
