Chauvet Professional will be back at Prolight + Sound coming up in Frankfurt, Germany April 26 – 29, 2022. They will be in Hall 12.1 on Stand E21. Among the products that Chauvet will be highlighting will be the Color STRIKE M, the onAir IP Panel range, and the COLORado PXL Bar 8 & 16. Here are some of the details on what Chauvet Professional will have on their stand at Prolight + Sound:

Color STRIKE M Strobe/Wash Luminaire
Color STRIKE M is an IP65 rated motorized strobe/wash with two ultra-bright, white light tube elements surrounded by an electrifying, color-mixing, and pixel-mappable face. This versatile strobe light can double as a wash fixture with 180° tilt range to throw bright saturated color wherever you need. The IP65 casing protects the fixture from any environmental factors or weather and has two omega-bracket attachments so you can mount the fixture horizontally or vertically without any hassle. Multiple programming personalities give you a varying amount of control from simple set ups with a multitude of built-in effects, or wider control options to take advantage of the pixel-mappable zones: 14 in the RGB face and 28 in the two tube elements. Built-in alignment pins insure perfectly straight linear arrays to create massive arrangements. DMX, Art-Net, and sACN control. All LEDs feature 16-bit dimming for smooth fades and Pulse Width Modulation for on-camera use.

onAir IP Panel 1 & 2 Range of Soft Light Panels
The onAir Panel IP range currently consists of two models – the onAir IP Panel 1 and onAir IP Panel 2. The onAir IP Panels are rugged IP65, full-spectrum LED soft lights capable of facing all of the elements, outdoors or in. The onAir IP Panel 1 has a 1×1 format; the onAir IP Panel 2 has a 1×2 format. Both are ready to go on-location for any broadcast setting, onAir Panel IPs feature a superior quality of white light with high CRI/ TLC and TM-30 scores; a smooth 16-bit dimming curve and +/- green adjustment, an emulated redshift, and the ability to produce a pop of color to achieve the exact look you are aiming to create along with built-in, customizable effects accessible from the onboard control menu. Easily switch mounting options from Junior pin to Omega bracket on a rugged build, designed with a drop-in slot to ensure ease of use when changing accessories. PWM, DMX, RDM, CRMX, Art-Net, sACN, and an onboard control option ensure camera-ready use. An optional 28 VDC input via 3-pin XLR powers the fixture from an external battery pack to add increased flexibility for all of your remote needs.

COLORado PXL Bar 8 & 16
Also being shown at Prolight + Sound are the COLORado PXL Bar 8 & 16 automated strip light luminaires. The two units in this range are built to be rugged, outdoor-rated and motorized LED wash lights. Designers can go from tight, bold bars of saturated color with movement to expansive pixel mappable looks in a matter of seconds. Here’s a preview video of the Chauvet COLORado PXL Bar 8 & 16 units:

Versatility is a virtue. The new IP65 rated COLORado PXL Bar 16 and COLORado PXL Bar 8 from CHAUVET Professional demonstrate that in convincing fashion, delivering a wide range of performance features, such as seamless pixel pitch between fixtures and fast, smooth motorized tilts up to 200ﹾ whether used indoors or out.

Regardless of where it’s used, the COLORado PXL Bar16 is loaded with features that will greatly expand creative possibilities for lighting designers, such as its 60ﹾ, 180ﹾ, and 200ﹾ motorized tilt range options. Other examples are the 5.8ﹾ to 48.8ﹾ zoom range of its 16 45-watt RGBW LEDs, and its two zones of control for pulsing effects.

The COLORado PXL Bar 8 also maintains pixel pitch between fixtures and has the same zoom range as its larger cousin.  However, it has fewer pixels and only one zone of control due to its smaller size. Both fixtures also have an impressive 8,875K color temperature (at full).

Adding even greater versatility to these fully pixel mappable fixtures are their built-in effects, including virtual gobo and movement macros with separate foreground and background color control. Slotted Omega brackets make it quick and easy to hang the fixtures on truss. They can also be positioned on the ground to provide a variety of different light angles.

The latest in CHAUVET Professional’s series of IP65 rated products, COLORado PXL Bar fixtures can be controlled via DMX, sACN, Art-Net, and Kling-Net; and are also RDM compatible for remote accessing and troubleshooting.

Constructed with a magnesium-aluminum alloy, die cast aluminum and high impact polymer, the new fixtures are rugged and lightweight (The COLORado PXL Bar 16 weighs 45.6 lbs./20.7 kgs.) The fixture’s body, as well as its power and data connections, software ports, 5-pin DMX input, and TCP IP input are all IP65 rated to ensure unparalleled performance regardless of the weather.
