As I wind down my career this fall, I lit my last two concerts ever with artists John Legend and Kid Rock at separate venues last month. This month I release my last issue of this fine magazine as your editor. After 40-plus years on the road, and seven behind the editor’s desk, it’s time to up my golf game and learn how to fly fish. Next month marks the dawn of a new era as some familiar faces take over my role. Nothing really changes; I may take leave, but the show must always go on.
