Portman Unveils the new Mantis Fixture

GDYNIA, POLAND – Mantis – unique, fully LED-based decorative stage lighting. Species belonging to the Portman family. It is characterized by a high spreading rate, especially in the tour, festival, tv show environment. Easy to tame by LDs. You can use them as independent units but also in larger clusters.

Light sources

There are three main warm light sources that emulate halogen behavior. These are accompanied by an RGBW glow with a nice, smooth color mixing. In the center, there is one RGBW light source with the frosted diffuser and allows to ad on it a gobo.

1 x 18 W RBGW LEDs (central gobo light)

 

Dimensions and weight

Mantis is a lightweight and handy fixture. The overall size is around 65cm and the weight is 8 kg. It can be easily installed on any tripod or an on a hook.

Control:

All electronics are always on board. To control it you can use 5-pin XLR or WDMX* (as an optional module) or set a macro in the standalone mode.

The whole fixture provides a lot of power in LEDs. It can be a nice smooth dimming fixture as well as a strong blinder. Can be operated on any kind of power source.
