With only a month and a half to go before kickoff for Super Bowl LV on Feb. 7, 2021, questions still loom about how many people will be filling the 65,618 seats of Tampa, FL’s Raymond James stadium, with some plans calling for cheering sections of (and for) vaccinated first responders. But there will be some continuity in terms of the halftime show — it will be the 15th consecutive spectacle crafted by Bruce Rodgers and his team at Tribe. “We are looking forward to presenting something special for the world to see,” Rodgers told PLSN’s Debi Moen. “I can tell you the creative development underway for The Weeknd’s performance promises to be a live 12-minute show designed to rival any of the previous 54 years of halftime shows.”
