Gym Light Cage
The Light Source’s Gym Light Cage is the perfect solution for protecting expensive performance lights in a sports environment. The main structure of the cage consists of two 30″ or 36″ square end pieces and five connecting pipes. Nineteen 1/8″ aircraft cables fill in the remaining spaces. Because the cables are thin, the light output is not blocked. Openings between the cables and pipes are less than 5″, providing great protection and easy access to the fixtures. The Gym Light Cage is available in ten sizes, from 4’6″ to 16’6″. Standard colors are white and black, however, they can be ordered in custom RAL colors, as well. Designed for easy assembly, pipes and cables are simply placed into machined pockets and bolted into place. The Gym Light Cage ships flat, drastically reducing freight charges.
MegaBatten
Although the Gym Light Cage is available as a cage only, its most efficient use is with a MegaBatten. Having wiring and data inside a sturdy schedule 80 pipe creates a clean look and does away with time spent managing a multitude of unsightly cables. Easily accessible 20-Amp Edison receptacles and 5 pin XLR outlets are spaced every 16″. The MegaBatten eliminates the need to run DMX from fixture to fixture and provides a quick and easy way to reposition lights. ETL listed, the MegaBatten is now certified for damp locations.
