NAMM welcomed in a new decade with another tremendous show, with over 115,000 people stopping by the Anaheim Convention Center from Jan 16-19th. The lighting section enjoyed an attendance level from the opening morning on, that was unheralded. PLSN caught up with 30 different friends of ours for a grip and grin to see what they were offering new. The Parnelli Awards as well as the TEC Awards boasted quite a few popular musicians stopping by to pay respects and pickup their own awards in some case. Once again, NAMM offered a selection of educational experiences to all who attend that are free of charge, along with others requiring a separate fee. This brought out stacks of industry pros to talk at sessions, as well as technical classes on everything from console operation to pixel mapping. We thank the following companies for showing their wares.
ADJ’s packed booth was full of flashing lights and IP65 stuff worth checking out.
