BRADFORD, YORKSHIRE, UK – At InfoComm SEA (Stand E62, Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) Hall 98, Thailand, 15-17 May 2019) Calibre will exhibit for the first time, showcasing two exciting new products for the first time in South East Asia.
More details from Calibre (www.calibreuk.com):
“We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to our InfoComm stand so that they can find out about the new Calibre,” said Willy Tsai, Managing Director at Calibre. “These two new products are excellent examples of how we’re revitalizing our solutions offering, providing customers with more breadth and depth of choice than ever before. They were designed based on feedback from the ProAV industry about what it really needs in terms of high performance, extensive functionality and greater ease of deployment.”
“Visitors will hear about our strategy for accelerated growth that sees us providing more complete solutions; expanding into new geographies and market segments; and greatly augmenting our partner network around the world so that we can offer even better local support,” Tsai continued.
New products to make Asia debut
The two new products making their InfoComm SEA debut that emphasize Calibre’s renewed focus on solutions include the HQPro1000 4K scaler-switcher. The first in a new range of solutions designed for maximum performance in the most challenging applications, the HQPro1000 is characterized by its inbuilt modularity, allowing customers to configure the exact functionality required – and to add to that functionality as needs change in the future. It also features Calibre’s best-in-class low-latency proprietary HQUltra scaling technology, supporting 4K50/60 4:4:4 RGB formats, as well as truly seamless switching and support for multiple sources and layers.
Also being demonstrated on the Calibre stand is the company’s new award-winning Ultra thin AiO (All-in-One) LED display, which is differentiated from competing products by the ease and speed – typically, less than an hour – with which it can be installed. The product is available now and is designed for demanding applications, the LEDFusion A130 is a 130-inch ultra thin display with 1.5mm pixel pitch, 38mm thickness, supporting full HD resolution.
Among its many features, the LEDFusion AiO family is differentiated by its unique integrated power control system.
“Power consumption of the full screen body is clearly marked and is consistent throughout,” said Tsai. “That distinguishes it from typical LED walls that are regulated by the LED modules. The power consumption of these modules after assembly is not clear, meaning that incorrectly assembled units may cause overload or even fire. The specifications and warning signs on the AiO are clear for the user at a glance to avoid any electrical hazards.”
Future vision
InfoComm attendees will also have the opportunity to preview two forthcoming Calibre products – the Quadvision scaler-switcher with multiviewer and matrix capabilities, and the SmartBrick LED display for micro digital signage which brings new levels of creative opportunity in a broad range of environments.
