In the old days, entertainment lasers were only found on the highest profile shows. Costs and special handling of expensive gear often overrode a production’s desire to utilize them. Much of that has changed. Lasers are almost commonplace on arena shows, prices are down and options for different gear are abundant. The fact that lasers are now being controlled by lighting consoles means we have a new generation of users. Here are a few details about some of the gear out on the market.
