DENVER, CO – The first ever Grandoozy Festival ran from Friday to Sunday, Sept. 14-16 and drew more than 55,000 attendees over three days to Denver’s Overland Park. Featured acts included Kendrick Lamar, Florence + the Machine, Stevie Wonder, Sturgill Simpson, Snow Tha Product and Head for the Hills. The Bandit-supplied package included Robe BMFLs, Claypaky B-EYE K20’s, Claypaky Sharpys, Chauvet Illuminarc Panel 80 LED Washes, Elation CuePix WW4 Blinders, Elation SixBar 1000 IP65 fixtures, Lycian M2 LT Spots and two grandMA2 Full consoles for control.

With a robust music scene of their own in Denver, the weekend also featured Kendrick Lamar, Florence + the Machine, Stevie Wonder, Sturgill Simpson, Snow Tha Product, Head for the Hills along with experiences such as a craft beer experience, distillery flights, outdoor showcases, a retro ski lodge and a daytime dance tent.
Bandit Lites supplied the lighting for the main stage, where acts such as Kendrick Lamar, Florence + The Machine and Stevie Wonder performed. The lighting package consisted of Robe BMFLs, Claypaky B-EYE K20, Claypaky Sharpys, Chauvet Illuminarc Panel 80 LED Washes, Elation CuePix WW4 Blinders, Elation SixBar 1000 IP65 fixtures, Lycian M2 LT Spots and two grandMA 2 Full Consoles for control.

Bandit’s crew for the weekend included Chris Noll, Aaron Swetland and Cody Cheatham with additional support coming from Bandit Lites Project Manager Gene Brian.
“Credit must go to our crew onsite and Gene and the prep crew in the shop for a very successful build and deployment of the lighting system,” finished Gosnell. “Joe Gordon, the stage Production Manager for Lambda, was very pleased with the speed and clean lines of the rig which contributed to a very successful new festival.”
