LAS VEGAS — CHAUVET Professional’s Maverick, fixtures have been making their mark on the theatrical and touring scene this summer, being specified for shows on Broadway, festivals like the Jay-Z curated Made In America, and tours by artists like Luke Bryan. This year at LDI, the company will be building on this success by showcasing the first IP65 rated fixture in its popular Maverick series.
More details from Chauvet (www.chauvetprofessional.com):
The new Maverick Storm 1 Wash features precision-engineered die-cast aluminum housing and 316 stainless steel external screws that enable it to withstand the even harsh weather conditions, making it well-suited for use in festivals, amphitheaters and other outdoor applications. “We designed the Maverick Strom 1 Wash to deliver a new level of dependability in outdoor applications,” said Albert Chauvet CEO of Chauvet.
In addition to its IP65 rating and rugged construction, the Maverick Storm 1 Wash delivers the brightness needed for outdoor applications, even those that start before the sun goes down. The fixture has an output of over 6,000 lumens, making it an effective aerial wash effect. With 19 individually pixel mappable 20W LEDS, a virtual gobo wheel with background colors, a wide zoom range and 16-bit dimming, the new fixture presents designers with a range of creative possibilities.
In keeping with its versatility, the Maverick Storm 1 Wash also offers a range of control protocol options, including DMX, RDM, sACN, Art-Net, Kling-Net and W-DMX. LDI visitors can check out this exciting new fixture at booth 1816.
