LAS VEGAS, NV — RUSHWORKS, a software development and hardware manufacturer that produces cool technology for production, playback, and streaming, has announced that its PTX Universal PanTilt Head will be at this year’s InfoComm Show in Las Vegas. PTX will be seen in action paired with the Blackmagic Design Micro Studio Camera 4K in that Company’s Booth C 3894, and in the AJA Booth C3960 paired the AJA RovoCam.

More details from Rushworks (http://www.rushworks.tv):

The Blackmagic Design Micro Studio Camera 4K is the company’s tiny Ultra HD studio camera that is perfectly designed for live production. Seen together for the first time at a major exhibition, RUSHWORKS’ PTX PanTilt head and the Micro Studio Camera will be controlled by Blackmagic Design’s ATEM live video production switcher for a winning production combination.

The PTX will also be on the AJA booth paired with the AJA RovoCam, a VISCA controlled 4K “block” camera using the Sony 8300 Eagle sensor and optics. RovoCam is AJA’s first compact block camera for industrial, corporate, security, ProAV and broadcast applications. RovoCam’s HDBaseT interface supports control of UltraHD video, power, stereo audio and RS-232 over a single Cat 5e/6 cable.

RUSHWORKS PTX Universal PanTilt Heads provide a new dimension of production functionality and versatility using a joystick and various hardware and software devices. The unit is controlled by VISCA protocol, passing remote communications to VISCA ‘box’ cameras, as well as cameras with LANC and Panasonic remote control interface capability. And because they accept full DMX control, they can be added as fixture profiles in lighting consoles and software, allowing the lighting designer to program scenes which include both lighting and video presets.
