LOS ANGELES – The 17th annual Parnelli Awards gala, held on January 26 in Anaheim, California during NAMM 2018, brought together the legends and upcoming talents of the live event industry to honor the companies and people nominated for their outstanding work this year.

The Parnelli Award is one of the highest honors to receive for live event professionals. Founded in 2001 and named after industry luminary Rick “Parnelli” O’Brien, the award recognizes pioneering, influential professionals and their contributions, honoring the best-in-class across 23 different categories such as “Lighting Designer of the Year,” “Sound Company of the Year” and others. It’s called by many the “Oscar’s” of the Live Event Industry.
A vibrant annual gathered live entertainment community to celebrate those artists behind the scenes in the live event industry. From school band concerts, to houses of worship, to the largest tours and festivals, seemingly every music event today has a sophisticated element of production in it.
CreateLED’s USA team has attended the event and witnessed the highest achievers and most admired innovators to receive Parnelli Award. The attendees paid tributes to professionals behind the best live events worldwide such as Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Coldplay live shows.
CreateLED was named the winner of the “Indispensable Technology” Award in the Video category for 3 Dimensional LED Display. Mr. Jason Cribbs, Managing Director of CreateLED, represented CreateLED to receive this honor and to make an award-winning speech.
