LAS VEGAS – This year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) saw over 180,000 attendees eager to see what’s to come in the world of technology, a world in which every device, vehicle, and person will be interconnected with one another. International design firm Fine Design Associates was called upon by some of the leading manufacturers of technology to develop a lighting design for their exhibits utilizing gear from 4Wall Entertainment.
More details from 4Wall (www.4wall.com):
Canon, Otter Products, Panasonic, and Samsung were among the many manufacturers who have entrusted the founder of Fine Design Associates, Paul Fine, and his team with lighting their exhibits for over 15 years.
“The goal of our clients in regards to the lighting design is to present the overall brand messaging in a manner that is engaging and visually spectacular,” explained Fine. “The advancements in both structure and SEG fabric walls continue to provide wonderful palettes for lighting and AV designers alike.”
4Wall provided over 1,300 lighting fixtures for the various exhibits. A moving lights package consisted of Martin MAC Aura XBs, Martin MAC Viper Profiles, Martin MAC Viper Performances, Martin MAC Viper Wash DXs, Robe BMFL Blades, and Vari*Lite VL3500 Spots.
Over 1,300 feet of Chroma-Q Color Force II LED battens were used to create vibrant borders atop of the exhibits. Hundreds of conventional lighting fixtures created an even wash of light that welcomed attendees to interact with the hands-on demonstrations and view the latest technology on display.
“In some cases, with the manufacturing B2B relationships that exist with our clients, they may request different flavors of fixtures to support their brand, or have called on a specific fixture for an effect that is agency-driven,” explained Fine. “That is why I turn to 4Wall, who has all the latest toys, and we never worry about availability.”
Fine spoke of the services 4Wall provided. “With the amount of controlled chaos we bring with us, there is only one company I feel comfortable working with, and that is 4Wall,” said Fine. “From the front office to the dock and back, we always receive a rock-solid performance from everyone which we are very grateful for.”
