NASHVILLE — The spotlight is shining brightly on Premier Global Production’s lighting division, with the Nashville-based production company earning three major nominations for its work in 2017.

More details from PGP (www.premierglobalproduction.com):

Tour Link’s “Top Dogs” Awards,  NAMM’S Parnelli Awards, and Pollstar’s Production Live Awards have all nominated Premier Global for lighting company of the year. The awards will be handed out over the next month at three different award shows on the west coast.

“Of course it’s an honor to be nominated, to get that recognition from your peers and to pick up nominations for three major awards is a tremendous achievement,” says Troy Vollhoffer, Premier Global’s owner and president. “It speaks to the quality of work we are doing, from the tour preps being carried out in our Nashville headquarters, to the quality of our gear, to crews that we are putting out on the road.”

In 2017, Premier Global lights hit the road with a wide variety of acts, from country sensations like Sam Hunt and Chris Stapleton to classic rockers like Styx and Reo Speedwagon to mega arena and stadium artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Metallica. The latter two shipped and trucked Premier Global lights all around the globe for their world tours, something that can’t be said for other Nashville-based lighting companies.

While 2017 saw the company reach new heights in terms of business and recognition, 2018 will garner even more success. Several current clients are hitting the road again with Premier Global lights and the company’s sales team has landed some exciting new accounts, both in the pop and country worlds.

Premier Global’s state-of-the-art full-production rehearsal room saw its first client of the year on January 2, and the room is booked solid through the first week of April.
