In an era where top tours feature jaw-dropping LED video and staging automation, there are still some artists touring with a classically theatrical nuance and touch. LD Jeremy Roth met with PLSN editor Nook Schoenfeld to discuss the visual design for artists including Wilco, Sheryl Crow and Ray LaMontagne where Roth teamed up with scenic artist and painter Valerie Light and Infinite Scenic in East Orange, NJ to create impressive scenic backdrops, which Roth complements with his nuanced lighting looks.
