Cirque du Soleil’s fourth annual One Night for One Drop charity event, held at the Smith Center in Las Vegas on Friday March 18, consisted separate events — the main show, and a lavish post-show after-party held outside in a large tent. The after party allowed VIP guests to meet the Cirque artists and enjoy live music with guest performances by Natasha Bedingfield, the Zowie Bowie Band and more Cirque du Soleil acts, along with cuisine donated by some of Las Vegas’ top restaurants.
*Correction: An earlier version of this online posting, as well as the version printed on page 22 in the May issue of PLSN, should have clearly noted that the lighting design, crew and gear listed above was for the One Night for One Drop VIP After Party, not for the Cirque du Soleil’s One Night for One Drop show itself. We have also corrected the misspelling of LD Olivier De Kegel’s name in the updated version above. PLSN regrets the errors.
