Tour Notes
Guitarist Warren Haynes, a member of Government Mule and the Allman Brothers band, embarked on a solo tour with a new band backing him last summer. This spring, he is out touring with the Ashes & Dust band, composed of ChessBoxer band members on mandolin, bass, fiddle and banjo. Jeff Sipe sits in on drums. Warren has steered from his blue-sy roots to play a form of music he describes as Newgrass. While not quite all acoustic, the style lends some electric guitar combined with typical bluegrass instruments.
