At LDI 2015, Philips Vari-Lite will present its widely-used Series 4000 along with two new Showline LED luminaires in booth 1516. When the show floor opens Oct. 23, the Parnelli Award-nominated VL4000 BeamWash (pictured here) and the PLASA Innovation Award-winning VL4000 Spot will be on full display along with the new Showline SL BEAM 300FX and the SL PUNCHLITE 220 in a fully integrated and hands-on booth design.

Without the need to change lenses, the Parnelli-Award nominated VL4000 BeamWash combines stunning wash capabilities with intense beam functionality and the ability to produce a powerful collimated shaft of light. Producing 43,000 lumens in standard mode (35,000 studio mode), the 1200W luminaire provides incredible point-of-source imagery through its 10 inch front lens. When used in Wash mode, the VL4000 BeamWash provides a 10-60 degree zoom range, and by simply adjusting a DMX value, the luminaire can shift into an intense Beam fixture with a 4-40 degree beam angle, or a Shaft fixture for a powerful, collimated ray of light where the 4 degree beam can be reduced to near zero. Whether in Wash, Beam or Shaft mode, the VL4000 BeamWash luminaire includes the Infinity Color Mix system for incredibly smooth color changes and instantaneous snaps, two five-position fixed color wheels, variable color correction, a beam-shaper, a dynamic animation wheel, two gobo wheels, a 5-facet step prism, unbelievably smooth dimming flags, independent shutter blades, and strobing abilities.
The VL4000 Spot luminaire was created using state-of-the-art technology to bring new features and innovation to productions around the world. Based on a Philips 1200W Fast-Fit lamp, the luminaire achieves over 33,000 lumens of output and also includes the all new Infinity color mix system, a 9-47 degree zoom, dual rotating gobo wheels, two adjustable animation wheels, framing shutters, an independent rotating prism with divergence control, variable frost and more. Additionally, a new selectable Studio mode now allows designers and technicians to further reduce the noise level of the luminaire and operate with an output of 25,000 lumens when desired. With low ambient noise in both modes, high lumen output, amazing optics and a full feature set, the VL4000 Spot redefines automated lighting by offering unlimited possibilities without compromises.
The Showline SL BEAM 300FX is a high performance moving head luminaire that delivers a powerful output, with fast and quiet movement. The 19 RGBW LEDs deliver exceptional output, and the versatile and effective precision optical design allows the SL BEAM 300FX to function both as beam and as a wash luminaire. The SL BEAM 300FX delivers a crisp, tightly collimated beam at the narrow zoom angles and the dual rotating front lens and effect wheel creates a unique myriad of bright compositions. The wider zoom delivers a powerful blended wash of color, and entrancing, fluid lighting effects can be created with the lens and effects wheel. Plus, individual pixel control and carefully designed optics deliver full flexibility with a large selection of unique preset effects and remove the need for inconvenient third party beam control accessories.
The Showline SL PUNCHLITE 220 is a high performance luminaire that delivers a powerful blended beam of light that is rated for outdoor use. Ideal for large outdoor stages and permanent outdoor applications, the innovative and large motorized zoom range of 8-40 degrees of the SL PUNCHLITE 220 offers flexibility to your lighting design. Now you can highlight performers, objects or building elements with a narrow shaft of light, or flood a wide area with a powerful wash of color. Operators also configure the SL PUNCHLITE 220 remotely via RDM, or locally through the comprehensive Showline LCD menu system. The robust split yoke allows for quick setup in any orientation, and the optional accessory holder allows the use of third party accessories to shape and control the beam.
