LAS VEGAS – Christie unveiled five new 3LCD digital projectors at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas. Featuring brightness ranges of 6000-8000 lumens with a single lamp and an optional* 0.38:1 Ultra Short Throw lens, the new Christie D Series with 10,000:1 contrast ratio boasts one of the brightest single lamps in the market offering XGA, WXGA and WUXGA high resolution.
Christie D Series is whisper-quiet and offers performance, quality and easy integration – making it ideal for higher education, corporations, museums, houses of worship, government facilities and selected rental and staging environments. Christie’s innovative and elegant new design seamlessly integrates into any environment and enriches any room’s decor. The five new D Series models replace the Christie LHD700 and LX700, in addition to the Christie LW551i, LWU501i and LX601i.
“The Christie D series is designed for the professional integrator to fulfill the end user’s situational needs, which led to the innovative Single Connect option that removes cords, wires, and unsightly cable covers from view. Form and fit are key factors in this market segment and Christie created a solution that is more than simply speeds and feeds,” said Frank Anzures, senior product manager, Christie. “The Ultra Short Throw (UST) lens option gives customers exciting new ways to project and the ability to create beautiful visual environments without worrying about people or objects entering the standard light path.”
The new Christie Connect option with Wireless USB option provides monitoring and collaboration capabilities in multi-user environments. Users also benefit from professional tools including HDRC-Liteloc for stunning images even as the lamp ages, and the new Advance Color Management system provides separate controls for hue, saturation and luminance to create lifelike images.
