Absen Offering Certified Engineer (ACE) Program in Orlando March 10-12, 2015

ORLANDO, FL — Absen is offering its Certified Engineers Program for engineers, technicians, and freelancers working in the event production industry. The next event is set for 7703 Kingspointe Parkway, Suite 600 in Orlando, FL on March 10, 11 and 12, 2015. The course is offered at no charge to qualified participants. Attendees are responsible for covering their own travel, food, and accommodation expenses.

Absen’s non-profit training program, offered free of charge, is designed primarily for the rental and staging industry with a focus on non-fixed flexible LED displays.

Absen offers a full range of training courses and hands-on practices opportunities for trainees. At the end of the training, there will be both written test and hands-on test, and trainees with combined scores of 80 or above will be awarded a certificate of Absen Certified Engineer (ACE), which is recognized as a new credential in video industry to supplement existing professional qualifications in sound and lighting.

Training schedule:

Day 1 (March 10): LED Screen basic Operation Technology Training

Day 2 (March 11): Advanced LED screen application training

Day 3 (March 12): A. Absen worldwide reference case video control technology study; B. Test and certificate awarding ceremony

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Technical staff from Absen customers in rental & staging industry

2. Full-time technicians and engineers from a rental & staging or event production company. Letter of full-time employment confirmation is required

3. Freelance technicians and engineers with a letter of recommendation from a rental & staging or event production company
