Mantracourt announced that a smaller size case is now available for its BroadWeigh wireless load monitoring system. The custom designed, compact case is available for up to 8 wireless load cell shackles. It is designed to make the load monitoring system easily transportable when on tour and better suited to smaller projects.

More details from Mantracourt (www.broadweigh.com):

The new, compact, robust and lockable case will provide protection and security for the BroadWeigh system with heavy duty handles for ease of transportation.

The BroadWeigh portable wireless system offers real-time, simple, effective and accurate load monitoring for rigging professionals, safety officials and site managers enabling them to monitor and log the precise loads on any given rigging point.

“We have been working closely with the entertainment industry in the development of the BroadWeigh systems,” said Jonathan Purdue, Sales Manager at Mantracourt. “Having refined and proven the technology, we have taken on board feedback from our customers for a smaller and more easily transportable version of the original BroadWeigh flight case. The new version will hold up to 8 shackles in the base and a handheld base station, USB drive (for software) and an active repeater securely in the lid.”

Central to the design of the BroadWeigh system are Crosby shackles equipped with a high accuracy, wireless load pin that reports data remotely to a computer or a handheld display.  The system is able to monitor multiple load cells and can trigger an alarm should a load exceed a preset parameter.

The BroadWeigh system is increasingly being seen as a cost effective solution for entertainment venues, touring companies and production suppliers, to provide essential measurements of force helping operatives eliminate overload risks. The BroadWeigh system has been developed in conjunction with entertainment industry professionals for real world work environments.
