LAS VEGAS – DJs Alesso (formerly with Swedish House Mafia) and Carl Cox performed at Light in Las Vegas over Labor Day weekend. Along with all the other visual toys stocked within the club, a $25 million adult playground launched by owners/operators Cirque du Soleil and The Light Group in May, 2013, Tommy Crews, the club’s creative director, worked with LaserNet president Tom Harman to set up a high-powered laser system with bounce mirrors.

The Labor Day Weekend at Light nightclub in Las Vegas was over the top with the addition of two world-class DJs and two of LaserNet’s high powered lasers. Light, the always impressive club owned by Cirque du Soleil and managed by the Light Group, brought in superstar DJs Alesso and Carl Cox to party till dawn. They also brought in LaserNet’s ultra-high powered, 20Watt RGB, full color lasers to give an extra kick to the nights like never seen before in the club.
Tommy Crews, Creative Director for Light said, “Knowing that Alesso and Carl Cox were coming in, we wanted this weekend to be beyond anything we’ve seen at the club. LaserNet’s super bright lasers were exactly what we needed to make that statement. And, I got LaserNet to setup bounce mirrors to criss-cross the room with wild beams.”
Tom Harman, LaserNet’s president, said, “We brought the lasers out of our Las Vegas office and wanted to show LIGHT the light! Seriously, the lasers were a little too bright for the venue, but with the precise projection zones, I kept everything safe and amazing. When Tommy asked me to setup the bounce mirrors, I was all in. Everyone knows I love working with bounce mirrors and I guess the picture speaks for itself.”
The high-powered lasers manufactured by LaserNet continue to set the curve for touring, installations and special events. These were the same lasers used at Cirque’s Michael Jackson One at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. We know they work because we use them ourselves!
