Parnelli Classic Golf Tournament Moves to June

LAS VEGAS — The captains of the live entertainment and media install industries converge on Las Vegas for the InfoComm show this June, but only one lucky team will be able to carry a Parnelli Classic “First Place” trophy home with them. The PLSN/FOH Parnelli Classic golf tournament will take place Tuesday, June 17 at the Siena Golf Club in Las Vegas, and proceeds will benefit the Parnelli Scholarship fund, supporting the next generation of live entertainment professionals at UNLV.

“The Parnelli Classic golf tournament is one of the highlights of the year,” said Terry Lowe, publisher of PLSN and FRONT of HOUSE magazines. “It’s a chance to rub elbows and network with the best of the live entertainment industry — and try to unseat Ed Wannebo and his team as champions.”

Set in the foothills of the Spring Mountains, the scenic entrance to Siena Golf Club will once again be further adorned with Vegas showgirls ready to pose with golfers for a complimentary keepsake photo. Once on the course, participants will find great views of the Strip and some of the best golf in Las Vegas.

4Wall Entertainment, Doug Fleenor Designs and ProCases have already signed on as sponsors for the tournament, but more sponsorships — including the 19th Hole Awards Ceremony, Longest Putt/Longest Drive/Closest to the Pin and Beverage Hole — are still available.

The tournament, a best-ball scramble, has a shotgun start set for 7:30 a.m. Players are encouraged to come out early for a continental breakfast, swag giveaways and the putting contest, all of which starts at 6 a.m. There will be a BBQ lunch buffet and awards ceremony immediately following the round of golf.
