Randy Rogers Band Performs with Dicolor LED Displays

HELOTES, TX — The Randy Rogers Band, which performed at John T. Floore’s Country Store here Oct. 25 and 26, relied upon Mega Systems, Inc.’s Dicolor U6 LED Displays for visual support. BP Lighting, Sound & Video provided the gear for the shows, which were staged in support of the band’s upcoming live CD and DVD, Homemade Tamales.

Production manager Marty Weir and LD Josh Peikert created the design and overall concept for the show. They wanted two high resolution screens to display band art work and I-Mag. “The panels looked amazing,” said Weir. “I believe they took our production to the next level.”

A total of 40 Dicolor U6 LED Displays were set up in 5×4 configurations. BP Lighting was in charge of assembling the displays. The U Series of LED Displays do not require any tools to assemble, so they go up quickly. “I was very impressed by how easily BP Lighting assembled the panels, and they fit together seamlessly,” Peikert said.

The production team was impressed enough with the quality of the Dicolor LED Displays to plan on using them for the band’s shows next year. Between 10 and 12 shows will be staged.
