Entertainment Structural Products’ ESP Truss Pick is made of strong, light billet machined aluminum with hardened tool-steel toggle bolts. Its strong design has a high capacity for stacked grid arrays, and the compact vertical profile makes it suitable for use with adjustable truss angle systems. It is compatible with any truss system currently in use with 2-inch diameter truss chords, and is available in 12, 16, 18, 20.5, 24 and 30 inch sizes.
The ergonomic, captured, steel-inserted folding nuts are designed to make super-fast closures with only 3 turns to tighten. Easy to operate with gloved hands, ESP’s closure system means no extra hardware to fumble or lose, no threads to damage and no more busted knuckles from scaffolding-style clamps. A self-locating clamp seat pulls the clamp into the correct position as it is tightened and prevents the nut from slipping off the clamp if it’s not fully tightened. Clamp claws never spread under load.
The ESP Truss Pick is serialized and traceable. As with all of ESP’s critical connection components, each truss pick is stamped with its serial number and date of manufacture. Plus, it features a recessed area for Barcoding and Annual Inspection Tags.
The 12-inch Truss Pick weighs only 2.4 pounds, with a capacity of 1300 pounds in each saddle and 2800 pounds through the body. A Heavy Duty version is available with a capacity of 2800 pounds in each saddle and 5600 pounds through the body.
ESP also offers custom engineering and fabrication to meet the specifications of its clients, including custom sizes and custom connection methods. Or, get custom engraving with your company name and information.
