SILVER SPRING, MD — Shadowstone Inc., a lighting rental provider based in Clifton, NJ, acquired R&R Lighting, based here, earlier this year, accelerating its expansion from the New York area to the mid-Atlantic region and Washington, DC. Shadowstone is planning an Open House event at 813 Silver Spring Ave. here to “introduce and re-introduce” its rentals, sales and service teams to existing and potential new customers.
The Open House is set for Oct. 25 (11am-7pm) and Oct. 26 (9am-3pm). Shadowstone vendors and manufacturers representatives will also be on hand, and refreshments will be served.
Shadowstone provides lighting and other gear to the media, film, TV and entertainment industry. R&R, operating since 1967, had handled projects at venues including the White House, the World Bank, IMF and the U.S. Senate. The acquisition was announced April 4, 2013 and completed in June.
