Morpheus Lights Sells More than 500 Ayrton MagicPanel 602s since July 1 U.S. Debut

LAS VEGAS — Morpheus Lights, the U.S. distributor of Ayrton LED luminaires, announced that sales and delivery the MagicPanel 602 LED luminaire has surpassed the 500 mark since the product’s U.S. introduction on July 1, 2013. Pictured here is the setup for Knife Party’s 2013 Electric Zoo Festival performance in NYC over Labor Day weekend; 77 Ayrton MagicPanel 602 fixtures were used.

MagicPanel602 features 36 15-wattt RGBW Osram light engines, continuous pan and tilt, and a very bright fixed 7.5° beam. It is fully pixel-mappable and equipped with Ethernet ports for ArtNet and KlingNet operation in addition to standard DMX 5-pin connections.

MagicPanel602 has clearly struck a major chord with the U.S. entertainment lighting design community as it finds its place in the television and concert touring market. Industry giant Upstaging purchased MagicPanel602 fixtures for current tours by Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Clarkson, and Nine Inch Nails.

Nashville-based Morris Light and Sound is supplying MagicPanel602 fixtures to the Florida-Georgia Line tour.  Also, Nashville-based 44 Designs specified and is supplying MagicPanel602 units for tours by artists Walk the Moon and Brand New.

Morpheus Lights has purchased MagicPanel602 for rental inventory and has recently supplied the fixtures for events as varied as the MDA Telethon, 2013 Electric Zoo Festival, NBC Sports, and the US Open Tennis Tournament opening ceremony performance by Lenny Kravitz.
