MONROVIA, CA — The Event Safety Alliance is a not-for-profit organization committed to advancing the cause of safety within the event industry. The ESA is currently writing its Event Safety Guide, a draft of which is downloadable on the website for public review. The commenting period on the draft version of this guide will be closing soon. All industry professionals are invited to download a copy of the Guide and submit comments for review by Aug. 5, 2013.

More details from the Event Safety Alliance (www.eventsafetyalliance.org):

The ESA has recently welcomed an influx of member registrations from emergency response professionals as a result of a feature in the NFPA Journal  (the official magazine of the National Fire Protection Association). The article, “Allied in Safety,” may be viewed here: http://www.nfpa.org/newsandpublications/nfpa-journal/2013/july-august-2013/features/allied-in-safety

The ESA welcomes these first responders to the ESA fold, and continues to seek involvement from other professionals to lend their expertise for the Event Safety Guide.

The fundamental mission of the Event Safety Alliance has been to develop a broad, multidisciplinary coalition of professionals united in a single mission – to ensure safer events. Its motto is: “You are the ESA.”
