Chad Peters (Lighting Director):
“The fun part of the small theater run is the dynamic show you can achieve. I can stuff a lot of lights on the stage and create mega huge looks as well as being able to get away with only having a few lights on for simpler looks…that never really works in a larger setting. The design was inspired by the band. There are now three principal members, and the majority of the lights were grouped in 3’s to reflect that. Fixture choices were pretty simple, as I have always been a fan of LED wash lights, so I was excited to have [Martin] MAC Aura’s out on this. The [Vari*Lite] VL 2500’s were nice for the budget. The favorite lights of the band at the moment are the Sharpys, which is how they ended up in the design.”
