DALLAS – Philips continues the Showline LED revolution with the worldwide debut of a its new LED strobe luminaire, the SL Nitro 510, a cutting-edge, LED- based strobe that provides intense bursts of light and dynamic effects with over 1300 high-powered LEDs that ensure maximum output and even distribution of light.

Said Brad Schiller, Showline product marketing manager,  “The SL Nitro 510 uses less power than traditional strobes, yet is extremely bright at more than 68,000 lumens and it has six programmable zones allowing designers to create a multitude of looks. The luminaire can also be used as an intense light source as it possesses the exceptional ability of a continuous duty cycle where the LEDs can be on at full for nearly unlimited amounts of time without any loss in output.”

SL Nitro 510 luminaires also include a built-in quick-connect system that allows them to easily connect together in both horizontal and vertical orientations.  The connection pins lock fixtures together while maintaining a perfect pixel pitch alignment of each fixture’s six programmable zones.  The fixture can quickly connect with SL Bar 520 luminaires to provide total creative flexibility.  When the units are combined, both the pixels of the SL Bar 520 and the zones of the SL Nitro 510 align allowing symmetry and unlimited design possibilities.

With its rugged construction, the IP20-rated SL Nitro 510 features a 6500K color temperature, six independent zones of control, preprogrammed special effects, a continuous blinder effect, as well as built-in presets, effects and chases.

With multiple DMX modes for total control and easy retrofits, the on-board LCD menu system makes addressing and setup quick and easy.  The fixture also features remote configuration via RDM, PowerCon in and thru power connections, 5-pin DMX-512A in and thru connections, a nearly silent temperature-controlled fan cooling system, and an auto-ranging power supply (100-240 V, 50/60 Hz).
