MONTREAL – Moment Factory is creating Tree of Light, a 10-minute light and sound show which will be presented every evening during the 2013 ISU World Figure Skating Championships at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario. From March 10-16, Tree of Light will lead the audience through the journey and movements of a figure skater, celebrating this beautiful sport, as well as the city of London.
The aim of this video mapping spectacle is to bring Londoners and visitors together outside, in a public place, to share a memorable multimedia experience. A team of 20 Moment Factory media artists created this projection show, integrating archive pictures, rotoscoping techniques and 2-D and 3-D animation.
