Vectorworks Available in Japanese Language Version

COLUMIA, MD —Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. announces the Japanese-language version of the Vectorworks 2013 line of design software, including Vectorworks Designer, Architect, Fundamentals, Landmark, Spotlight and Renderworks. The “Vectorworks 2013 Caravan” launch events are free and will take place throughout Japan in January.

COLUMIA, MD —Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., a provider of CAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, announces that its Tokyo-based distributor, A&A Co., Ltd., has released the Japanese-language version of the Vectorworks 2013 line of design software, including Vectorworks Designer, Architect, Fundamentals, Landmark, Spotlight and Renderworks.

This year A&A Co., Ltd. is expanding its reach to other design disciplines by offering localized versions of the entire Vectorworks product line, including solutions specific to the landscape and entertainment design industries. “We’ve already received many orders for the new version,” explains Kazuko Uchida, President of A&A. “We expect to gain many more Vectorworks fans as we travel around the country to demonstrate the capabilities in Vectorworks 2013 software.”

The first shipment party, a tradition to celebrate the new version of the software, took place Jan. 7, 2013.

The Vectorworks 2013 product line contains more than 80 improvements, including new commands and tools. Performance in many areas of the program has also been improved. Examples of this include wall network manipulation, hidden line rendering, changes to Vectorworks Spotlight lighting devices and 2D navigation of Vectorworks scenes.
