EverGrip cable assemblies feature a proprietary two-part molding process that encapsulates the interiors of the male and female connectors to prevent spinning and eliminate non-mating or mismatched connections. This construction also encases conductors to avoid short circuits and prevents pins and contacts from pushing back into housing, which helps to extend cable life. Lex Products’ proprietary EverGrip molding technology provides enhanced reliability and durability when connecting power distribution boxes to hoists in entertainment rigging and scenery conveyance applications.

An oil-resistant thermoplastic elastomer overmold absorbs impact, protects internal conductors and provides an insulated gripping surface. The overmolded locking ring provides additional impact resistance and a firm gripping surface for mating and unmating connectors. The connectors feature arrows to ensure accurate alignment for mating.
In addition, the flexible strain relief is molded to extend cable life and a supportive wire mesh bus drop cable grip helps to prevent cable stress.
The EverGrip 7 pin molded Socapex compatible motor control cable extensions are available with 16 AWG, 7 conductor cable or heavy-duty 14 AWG, 7 conductor cable.
