“I have worked with Baz Halpin (creative director and production/lighting designer) on several other projects, both directly and indirectly, before working with him on this tour. It’s always a great experience working with him.
All the lighting equipment on this tour has been fantastic and very reliable. We’ve hardly had to swap any fixtures. I think we only swapped our first Alpha Beam 700 just last week after eight months of touring.
The rig has not changed at all from the production rehearsals. There has been some extensive day to day re configuration for some venue sizes but that’s what presets are for.
Working with this group of production crew has been a great experience. From the band to working with Upstaging, who have been very good to us, supplying both gear and crew. Its been a lot of fun.”
