Selena Gomez Owns the Night with Bandit
KNOXVILLE, TN – Show Designer Seth Jackson and Lighting Designer Brian Jenkins called upon Michael Golden at Bandit Lites to provide illumination services for Selena Gomez’s current sold-out “We Own the Night” world tour. Tour manager Mark Holloway, production manager Javier Alcaraz and stage manager Lenny Rogers work in tandem with Bandit Lites each night to deliver a high-energy show.
Jackson and Jenkins worked together on the lighting design and have come up with a combination of lighting and video looks that transform the stage into a magical environment. Using MAC 2000 Spots, VL 2500 Spots, GRN Battens and the new GLP Volkslicht, the stage is aglow with maximum color and intensity. The LED-based Volkslichts and the GRN Battens provide a rich and bright base wash over the entire stage. The hard edge lights are used in just the manner they were intended, to knife through the overall washes.
Add a host of Atomic Strobes with color changers and video panels scattered about a multi-level stage and Selena has a virtual playground that captures the eye at all times. Jenkins’ console of choice is the grandMA.
