Acclaim Lighting’s AL-Control 1 Pro LED controller, new to the U.S., combines the ability to control a variety of color changing effects and programmable scenes with a built-in clock for date and real-time scene triggering. The U.S. version is the same as the European model introduced earlier, except it has a different panel size for single gang US junction box mounting.
The seven built-in color changing effects include Fixed Color, Color Changing, Rainbow Change, Custom Rainbow, Random Color, White and Auto Program. There are 12 programmable scenes and eight scene buttons on the unit’s panel for easy scene playback. An online function makes it easy to link multiple controllers so the same scene can be played simultaneously.
The Acclaim AL-Control 1 Pro features infrared remote control, and its firmware can be updated via a USB port.
The unit features a built-in clock for date and real-time triggering of scenes, plus password protection and power failure memory. The LCD display on the unit has a light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the backlight as the ambient room light changes.
The AL-Control 1 Pro has a DC12-24 V power supply and 4 pin terminal socket for LINK in, LINK out and DMX out. It weighs 75g (2.65 ounces). The MSRP is $200.
