Elation Professional’s RDMS6 is a portable professional 6-way RDM/DMX splitter for variety of data distribution needs, including either RDM or DMX signals. Because it complies with both RDM E1.20-2006 and USITT DMX-512 (1990) protocol standards, it can be integrated into any lighting system via its 5-pin standard Neutrik connectors (6 Out, 1 In and 1 Thru), to split and boost RDM and DMX data signals.
The RDMS6 also features an opto/electrical isolation design to ensure secure, interference-free performance. It uses optical isolation for each of its 6 outputs, protecting each branch from electrical faults and allowing it to function independently of the others. Additionally, each output is equipped with its own independent driver to boost signal for optimal data transmission.
The RDMS6 has also been designed for versatile and easy installation. The unit includes two Velcro straps for easy pipe mounting, as well as a hanging bracket adaptor that attaches to a C-clamp on truss.
The RDMS6 also features a Linkout/Terminate Switch that lets users easily terminate their DMX lines. This eliminates the need to bring along a DMX terminator.
The RDMS6 also includes an RDM/DMX Switch, and it features multi-voltage operation: 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz. Rated at IP20, it is both RoHS and CE compliant.
Built for life on the road, the splitter is encased in rugged extruded aluminum housing, yet is also lightweight and portable. It weighs 1.3 lbs/ 0.57kg and measures 10.4” x 4.7” x 4.4”/ 264 x 120 x 113mm.
