Christie Featured 30 Products in 12 Zones at InfoComm

ORLANDO, FL — Highlighting visual technologies that ranged from projection mapping, 4K, 3D and impact walls, Christie set a company record for InfoComm exhibit floor space this year. Products featured at the booth and InfoComm’s 3D Pavilion included projectors, displays, video processors, yoke systems and software solutions, targeting entertainment, government and academic uses.

Themed zones included:

“4K for Pro AV,” which featured the new Christie D4K35 – a 4K projector designed for ‘amusement parks, large auditoriums, museums, planetariums, virtual reality settings, and automotive designers using CAD; it provides 35,000 lumens with 3-chip DLP.

“Project Anywhere with Christie Nitro Solutions” — a moving yoke system designed to help projectors to blanket live events, lobbies, museums and other venues with images.

“2D and 3D, Together at Last” — which provide information on when, why and where users can display different content types using the Christie Spyder X20 video processor, which manages and controls 2D and 3D content in the same display, at the same time.

“Architectural Surface Mapping” for bumping up the “Wow” factor with 2D and 3D designs being projected onto multi-dimensional surfaces using the Christie Roadie HD+35K and two Christie Roadster HD18K 3-chip DLP projectors, delivering content designed and mapped by BARTKRESA design.

“Blended and Curved Boardroom Solutions,” with two Christie HD6K-M projectors.

“Video Wall Solutions” featuring standard, stackable rear-projection display cubes.

“Impact Wall” featuring a display canvas of 18.66 MP.

“Practice and Play,” a Christie MicroTiles-based plug-and-play software station, featuring Christie JumpStart (tech preview) and Autodesk Revit files for MicroTiles.

The company also featured a projection gallery with Christie’s LCD and 1-chip DLP projectors, a 55-foot tiled LCD display with the new FHD551-X flat-panel, and the Christie Vista universal routing switcher demonstration.

Christie products were also seen elsewhere at InfoComm, including booths maintained by Da-Lite Screen Company, Flexible Picture Systems, Stewart Filmscreen, TMB/Hippotizer, Jupiter Systems, rp Visual Solutions, Infitec Global Sales GmbH, Screen Goo Americas Inc. and Tempest Lighting Inc.

The company also continued its support of industry consultants through its gold sponsorship of the NSCA charity concert,  “Drunk Unkles,” on Thursday, June  16, at B.B. King’s Restaurant and Blues Club in Orlando. Christie also hosted the annual Consultants’ Cocktail Reception on Wednesday, June 15.
