MINNEAPOLIS — Freestyle Productions, a Daktronics rental partner, has added modular PST-12HD panels to their rental inventory. “The Freestyle team is excited about the versatility and ease of use of the new PST panels,” said Dale Kivimaki, Freestyle Productions owner. “With the ability to setup different display sizes in nearly any outdoor setting — including direct sunlight and other elements — we are increasing our client base with this new inventory.”
Daktronics PST-12HD panels are designed to provide a thin, lightweight modular LED video solution with 7,000 nits of intensity, a new pixel layout for greater contrast, wide viewing angles and 19-bit image processing for better image quality, making them well-suited for use at outdoor festivals, sporting events, corporate events, concert tours and one-offs.
“We are at a point where it makes sense to purchase new gear,” Kivimaki said. “Daktronics is nearly our neighbor, and we’ve been building a relationship with them for years. The PST product line is durable and has proven itself a reliable player in the mobile LED market with the rigors of rock and country concert tours. And, perhaps best of all, it’s made in America.”
Freestyle Production’s new LED inventory made its debut recently at a corporate show in Dallas, Texas, where the Daktronics panels were arranged in a freeform manner on the stage to create a vibrant centerpiece for a crowd of more than 2,000 attendees. From Texas the panels moved on to provide inspiration for the 55,000 walkers and runners at the 2011 Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure.
