Trace Lighting Release New Version of LimeLIGHT

Share this Post:

Trace Lighting's latest version of LimeLIGHT features a number of updates aimed squarely at installers working in anything from clubs to conference centres. In latest version, LimeLIGHT offers the ability to put the already touch screen friendly arrays of buttons on a separate monitor. These button panels have long been a useful part of LimeLIGHT’s playback interface for club work, being particularly suitable for controlling attributes such as colour or anything not requiring fader control. Their utility is enhanced in this release with simple touches such as the ability to change colour to highlight their function. Another feature added following feedback from installers is the ability to “Lock” the console; until a password is entered the system can only be used for playback – the programming cannot be altered.

Other new features include the way scenes are faded in and out has been made much more configurable, and a range of additional options are now available to the user. It is now possible to control up and down time on a per attribute bias, along with the snap point for non-faded attributes. These can be combined in one transition to create an effect that would otherwise require multiple follow on cues.

These software additions come ahead of the planned release later in the year of an input wing and to give users a physical means of controlling the LimeLIGHT software.
