ORLANDO, FL – LMG, Inc. recently purchased the Ross Video Vision 3 QMD Switcher to enhance the firm's video inventory and switching capabilities. The purchase also represents a step LMG is taking toward a multi-definition platform for the live production environment. The Ross Vision QMD switching system assists with the process for creating HD and 3D multi-screen presentations for events, allowing messaging, images and effects to move across multiple screens and arrangements.
With this purchase, LMG will upgrade its current inventory of standard definition flypack video systems with the Vision QMD switcher, beginning the process of converting all of the firms' video packages to offer multi-definition capabilities. In addition, the Ross Vision QMD switcher will play a key role in LMG's plans to develop enhanced 3D video flypack systems for the corporate event environment.
"This switcher is designed to provide a new approach to creating multi-screen presentations that combines powerful live production capabilities with sophisticated image processing," says Kevin McCabe, vice president of technical services at LMG. "The MultiScreen feature, along with the 3D capabilities, not only provides an ideal platform to enhance our current video systems, but will also be a great tool for our 3D packages in the future."
